We provide practical advice and guidance for ethnic minority individuals and families across a range of essential life areas. Below you’ll find information on how we can help and how to access further support.

We help you understand your rights as a tenant, including safe housing standards, protection from unfair eviction and deposit protection. Our advisors can support you in understanding tenancy agreements and raising concerns.

Benefit entitlement depends on your immigration status, income and family situation. Common options include Universal Credit, Housing Benefit and Child Benefit. We can help you understand what may apply to you.

Health access & social care guidance
We provide guidance on accessing NHS services, registering with a GP and understanding local health pathways.
You can register with a GP online or in person, usually using proof of address. For urgent care, NHS 111 is a good starting point.

We support individuals and families with navigating local systems, accessing services and settling into their community.

Support with job searching, training opportunities and employability guidance, including referrals to job centres, local charities and online recruitment platforms such as Indeed or Reed.
Job centres, local charities, recruitment agencies and employability workshops or CV clinics are good starting points.

We advocate on your behalf where appropriate and support you in communicating with services and institutions.

We can help you understand what documents are typically required and refer you to a specialist immigration adviser regulated by OISC for formal immigration advice.
Requirements vary by route but typically include identification and proof of income. An OISC-regulated adviser can help organise the correct documentation.

Guidance on accessing social care services, including understanding assessments, local authority processes and available support for individuals and families.
You can request an assessment from your local authority. We can guide you through the process and explain what to expect.
